Evaluations

EvaluationsEvaluations

Formal evaluations are tailored to specifically address diagnostic questions and, thus, no two evaluations may be alike.  Formal evaluations may include:

  • Standardized testing to assess developmental/cognitive skills and/or academic skills
  • Interviews with parents, teachers, and other service providers
  • Standardized questionnaires completed by parents and teachers
  • Behavioral observations of the child in the office
  • School and/or home observations

A report discussing the findings and recommendations is generated and a meeting with the parents is conducted to review the results.
