Evaluations
Evaluations
Formal evaluations are tailored to specifically address diagnostic questions and, thus, no two evaluations may be alike. Formal evaluations may include:
- Standardized testing to assess developmental/cognitive skills and/or academic skills
- Interviews with parents, teachers, and other service providers
- Standardized questionnaires completed by parents and teachers
- Behavioral observations of the child in the office
- School and/or home observations
A report discussing the findings and recommendations is generated and a meeting with the parents is conducted to review the results.
